Appointments are allocated as per directives from the client governments we serve on a first come-first-serve basis. You can schedule a new appointment or reschedule an existing one as per the process stipulated on the country-specific website.

While Embassies are trying to accommodate as many applicants as possible, we request you to keep checking for available slots at regular intervals.

We understand that applicants need an update on their passports submitted at our Visa Application Centre. Our local teams will reach out to you with an update on the status of your visa application and return of passport after receiving the instructions from the respective Embassy/Consulate. You will receive an intimation on your passport basis the option selected for Self-pick or Courier. VFS Global is guided by the respective client governments to retain the document for a specified number of days post which it is returned to the respective Embassy/Consulates. Very often though, you may see a message saying “Under process” since these decisions are taken by the respective Embassies/Consulates, and not VFS Global.
